St. Croix County is working on the implementation stage of the adopted Farmland Preservation Plan. The next step is updating its agricultural zoning district(s) to align with the state’s new standards for farmland preservation. This zoning update will establish multiple agricultural zoning districts to accomodate diverse agricultural activities and related businesses. On Monday, April 1st, 2013 the township will host a meeting at Rooster’s Roadhouse at 7:00p.m. with a County Senior Zoning Planner present to discuss these new draft zoning districts and answer resident’s questions regarding the proposed changes. The county encourages town participation in the new farmland preservation zoning. Your input is necessary to aid board members in their decision regarding whether the township should be part of farmland preservation zoning
district(s) or not. Please attend if you can.
